Where do you start when everything in your life feels unhealthy or broken?  Can it really make a difference at all to make a healthy change?  I believe healthy living tips can help you.

All you can do is all you can do.  Choose one healthy living tip to focus on at a time.  Watch for the subtle changes in your life, your health, your body, your mind, your emotions but looking to see if it is changing you for the better.

Healthy Living Tips

Focus on making changes that are small and easy at first so you can feel successful and build on that success.

Start with five to ten minutes a day exercising, meditating, or another relaxation skill.  Do this daily until it feels natural to start increasing the length or intensity.

I remember I started meditating five minutes a day.  I stayed with it for nine to ten months before I increased the time to 20 to 30 minutes.  After many years of practice I like to meditate for an hour a day.

I did the same with daily exercise.  I started with 10 minutes and increased it over time.

When it comes to changing the eating habits instead of changing everything or feeling deprived start slowly adding one to two healthier items in your diet each week.

To make changes choose things that you like in exercises or foods or the things you want to do instead.  Don’t choose to do things you hate. That is a set up for failure.
